World Vegetarian Day - San Francisco – 2006

I shot this on September 30th and October 1st here in San Francisco for Gabe Quash, at Undercover TV, and In Defense of Animals (IDA). It was my first time at World Vegetarian Day. I love hanging out with all the “cool kids” and eating all the yummy (and some not so yummy) food they offer.

I met all the great people featured in this video like The Mad Cowboy aka: Howard Lyman, Dr. Katz the President of IDA, Bob Linden from Go Vegan Radio, and John Robbins just to name a few.

I know this took me FOREVER to blog but finals were killer, and add graduating and having to grow up on top of that.

So I’m sure you’re all dying to know how the “Pineapple Right-Side-Up” VEGAN cupcakes turned out!

Well I loved them! One VERY IMPORTANT WARNING to all you new cupcake makers out there FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS or suffer the consequences. I say this because the directions told me to let the cupcakes cool before eating, as well as to put them in the fridge for 4 hours before eating. I never was one to follow directions, but you live, you bake, you learn. These cupcakes are strictly to be served cold!!!!
