So I’m sure you’re all dying to know how the “Pineapple Right-Side-Up” VEGAN cupcakes turned out!

Well I loved them! One VERY IMPORTANT WARNING to all you new cupcake makers out there FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS or suffer the consequences. I say this because the directions told me to let the cupcakes cool before eating, as well as to put them in the fridge for 4 hours before eating. I never was one to follow directions, but you live, you bake, you learn. These cupcakes are strictly to be served cold!!!!

So when this book first came out (Vegan Cupcakes Take Over The World) I thought to myself, “Yum vegan cupcakes! Too bad every vegan thing I have even tried to bake taste like ass.”

But temptation got the best of me and I decided to buy it on Amazon last week. I’m really glad I did! There are some really GREAT looking cupcakes in there and I’m sure one day I’ll make them all!

I started with the Golden Vanilla. And they didn’t wow me so my next try will be the Pineapple Right-Side-Up Cupcakes. My roommate, the flesh eater, seemed to like them and he was curious as to how I got them so fluffy. I even brought one to Josh Wolf’s dad, Len, down at the federal building and he said they weren’t bad at all.

I guess my tasted still have yet to switch over to the vegan egg free way. It my also have something to do with the fact that I never have been a big fan of sweets. But either way this book is fun and cooking will always be one of my passions. I’ll keep you all posted on how the next batch turns out.
